Working with Jerry has literally taken a load off my back. He explains what you can and cannot do with clarity and makes “year end” a painless concept and not the nightmare we are all expecting to face. Jerry truly listens to our problems and concerns and customizes a product to our needs. He has put us “in control” of our business. You can’t go wrong when Jerry has your back!

Updated COVID-19 Resources and Information

covid 19 information
  • Nevada Business Closures: The Governor issued Directive 003 within his Declaration of Emergency. Please read it carefully, especially Sections 8 & 9 to determine if your company may continue to operate and the consequences associated with violations. The official directive can be found here.
  • Small Business Loans: Nevada is one of the first states to be approved for SBA Disaster Relief Loans. Funds are limited so please encourage your clients (and yourselves if applicable) to apply immediately. Please note: this application can be cumbersome for clients and they may need your assistance. Please visit here  for more information.
  • State Income Tax Filing: Many of you file federal and state income taxes for clients. Each state determines its filing due dates. The AICPA has a list of each state’s filing dates. Please be sure to refresh the page as changes are happening hourly.
  • Nevada Tax Filing and Payments: The State of Nevada provided the following response regarding state tax filing and payment due dates:

“Although the Department of Taxation has closed its offices to public access the Department strongly encourages all taxpayers to file and pay any applicable taxes as they become due (See NRS 372.354 and NRS 372.355). Despite the office closures you can either pay online using the Department’s online system “Nevada Tax”, mail a check/money order/cashier’s check to the Department’s lock box or drop it in one of our convenient drop boxes located at each office (with the exception of Henderson). All payments received via US Postal system are considered timely if they are postmarked the date they are due. However, if you find that these options are not acceptable, please contact the Department’s call center at (866) 962-3707 for further guidance.

The Department of Taxation will not be granting automatic extensions. You can request a 30-day extension by putting your request in writing and emailing it to The request must include your business name, Taxpayer Identification Number (TID), telephone number and an explanation of circumstances to support the extension. Each situation is unique and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Requests will be answered in the order received but not before March 31, 2020. Note: Interest will continue to accrue on any unpaid tax balance. “

Please continue to send your questions and comments, they are valuable to the efforts at hand. Speaking of hands…be sure to wash yours! Stay healthy.
